Note: These beautiful hand beaded bands are meant for hair decorations for adults and children. However, care should be taken that infants and children under age 8 are not allowed to play with them because of small removable parts.
A Navajo artist created this silver and beadwork hair band. The silver panel is just over 1/2" high x 6-1/8" long; it contains a lovely pattern of hex beads worked in fire colors on a green turquoise background. The artist fastened the silver panel onto a machine made plastic hair band that is 1-1/4" wide at the ends and 1/2" wide at the center. The band contains a line of small teeth to hold it in place; the 14-1/2" long band will fit an adult head. Please note: This band was made to allow for normal expansion to slip it over the head, but stretching or twisting may cause the silver panel or the beadwork to break loose. $95.50
