For the collector: Navajo bead artist Jay C. McCray created this Plains Style pouch using white brain-tanned buckskin and 13º seed beads beaded in clear red, gray, two shades of blue and white. Beaded in lazy or lane stitch, the pouch is finished with small, old style concho studs, sequins, spaghetti beads, small pony or Crow beads, steel cones and ribbons. Without the beaded handle and fringe, the pouch measures 3-1/2" wide x 5" long. Total length including handle and fringe is about 12". The completely hand made pouch is beaded on one side only.
